General information about agent types.

This registration form gives you the opportunity to apply to become a commission agent (payment on account), a commission agent (student pays upon arrival at IHL) or a net (agent pays on account) agent for International House London. Please note that IH London must approve your application and reserves the right to determine your final agent type. Your rate of discount or commission and agent type will be confirmed on your agency agreement.

Net Agents - Agent pays net fees to IHL
For Net Agents, IH London invoices your agency the fee payment with your commission already deducted. For example, if the course costs £100 and you receive a 10 per cent agency fee, we will invoice you for £90. If your client wants to stay longer at IH London, we will extend their programme. As the client pays the additional fees directly to us, we will pay you a 10 per cent commission on the booking at the end of the quarter.

For example, if your client is booked on a ten-week programme for £100 (£90 already paid) and we extend the programme by another ten weeks at a cost of £100, we will invoice your client £100 and pay your agency £10 commission at the end of the quarter.

Commission Agent - Gross fees payable on account
We will invoice your agency directly for the full cost of the programme and pay commission at the end of each quarter. So if the course costs £100 and you receive a 10 per cent agency fee, then we will invoice you the full £100 and pay you £10 in commission at the end of the quarter. If your client wants to stay longer at IH London, we will extend their programme. As the client pays the additional fees directly to us, we will pay you a 10 per cent commission on the booking at the end of the quarter.

Payment of course fees must be made within 30 days of the date on the invoice or before the course starts, whichever is the sooner. You can pay by cheque, bank transfer or credit card in Pounds Sterling or Euros. Find our payment details in the Resources section.

Commission Agent - Student pays on account
Upon arrival at IH London, the student will pay gross fees in full. We will pay you commission at the end of each quarter.
