Classroom Skills for Secondary Teachers is one of our two week summer language courses for English language teachers.
This practical course explores the different teaching communication skills for children (10-12 years) and teenagers (13-15 years). We will show you how best to practise English language skills, suggest techniques to help you improve your students’ pronunciation, and demonstrate effective teaching classroom management. We also evaluate the teaching material available for this age range.
Apply before 30 June 2010 and we will deduct 10% off the course price for successful candidates. *

At International House London, we focus on communication and speaking, with student to student interaction being used rather than a more traditional lecturing approach. This makes our English and Modern Language courses both exciting and rewarding, with progress being made very quickly.
London is a diverse and exciting city with great shopping, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, art galleries, theatres and historic buildings. We’re here to help you see the best of London, with our regular social events that show you the sights and introduce you to other students.
Since its creation, International House has been a pioneering force in the field of teacher training, offering the first qualification for Teachers of English as a Foreign Language during a time when the industry was just developing.
International House London now trains hundreds of new and experienced language teachers every year, finding employment for many of them in the affiliated schools abroad.
