IH TESOL Certificate (part-time)

The IH TESOL Certificate (part-time) is an initial English teaching certificate aimed at new teachers, or teachers with a little formal training whose first language is not English. The part-time course is ideal if you have to work during the day.

TESOL teacher training will introduce you to the theory and practice of teaching English to speakers of other languages. You will learn how to develop the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills of your students.

The IH TESOL Certificate is not the same as our CELTA training course, although it has a similar structure of lectures, seminars and supervised teaching practice. To join the course you need an awareness of English and a competence in the language, equivalent to Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or CEF C1.
