Distance Delta Course
The Distance Delta Course is a unique eight-month English teaching diploma developed by International House London and the British Council. It is ideal for experienced, practicing second language English teachers who want to carry on working while studying for a further English teaching certificate.
The Distance Delta Course is a good alternative to intensive/part-time face-to-face Delta courses because you can control your own study timetable. You need to dedicate a minimum of 10-15 hours per week to the Delta course over an eight month period.
How is the Distance Delta course structured?
The Distance Delta Course allows you to study while still working in your school or institution. The eight month programme involves a two week Orientation Course to introduce you to the main themes and approaches of the distance component, and to the other students. The distance component involves the production of written work and the assessment of your practical teaching skills.
