IELTS Combination
Our IELTS Combination course will help you get ready for the IELTS exam in London, as well as improving your English language skills with General English lessons.
The general lessons help you practise English language skills in reading, writing, listening or speaking English. The IELTS lessons will equip you with the specific academic language skills that you need to do well in the IELTS test. International House IELTS teachers are very experienced and we have an extremely high success rate.
Course overview
- 30 lessons per week (each lesson is 55 minutes) for four weeks. Monday to Friday, 9am - 12pm with a 15 minute break (General English), and 1.15pm - 4.15pm with a 15 minute break (IELTS Preparation). Total lesson time per week: 27 hours and 50 minutes.
- You should be an intermediate (CEF B1) standard or above and there is an entrance test prior to joining the course
- The course includes a mock IELTS test carried out under exam conditions with individual feedback.
- An IELTS course book, supplementary book and practice test book are provided to support your studies.
- International House London is a recognised IELTS Test Centre and offers regular IELTS test dates throughout the year.
- Minimum age of student is 16 years old.
- The maximum class size is 14 students.

How We Teach
