Practice Lessons

A practise for you and your friends in French, German, Italian and Spanish

Supervised teaching practice is a vital part of our training programmes and we require groups of students who can take part in these lessons for the trainee teachers to practice with. These trainee teachers are working towards the International House Certificate in Teaching Foreign Languages to Adults.

We offer limited places six times a year at Beginner and Intermediate levels.

• Beginner level classes don't require you to have any previous knowledge of the language.
• Intermediate level classes are for people who can already communicate in most everyday situations and discuss common topics. You should be able to use a variety of tenses and expressions with reasonable accuracy, and be confident listening to and reading material in the target language.

Please note: The Teaching Practice Intermediate level is NOT the continuation of Beginners. If you wish to continue studying, please choose the next level up (Beginners Continuation) in the language you wish to study from the left hand menu.

Full Time Classes: -
18.30 - 20.30,
Monday - Friday for 2 weeks

Part Time Classes: -
18.30 - 20.45
Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 5 weeks
